Karli is a Howell native and married her high school sweetheart. She is a mom to four young children, and is currently homeschooling her children. Karli graduated from MSU with a degree in English education and taught both high school and middle school English. Her family loves to spend time together outside. They especially enjoy hiking, bike riding, and going on camping trips. In sixth grade she started playing clarinet outside of her band class and eventually started playing flute in college. Holly participated in marching band, concert band, wind ensemble, jazz ensemble and jazz combos at Saginaw Valley State University. Her main instrument is saxophone but has played in multiple groups on clarinet and flute as well. Holly now teaches K-12 music in Washtenaw County.
