Holly began playing saxophone in fifth grade, she loved it so much she wanted to try all of the woodwind instruments. In sixth grade she started playing clarinet outside of her band class and eventually started playing flute in college. Holly participated in marching band, concert band, wind ensemble, jazz ensemble and jazz combos at Saginaw Valley State University. Her main instrument is saxophone but has played in multiple groups on clarinet and flute as well.
Holly now teaches K-12 music in Washtenaw County. She loves beginning band and helping students find their joy in music. Holly is so excited to help you grow in your musical journey too!
