Rebekah Start is a visual storyteller working in cut-paper collage, mixed and digital media. She has taught a variety of art classes for skill levels ranging from beginner to advanced. Rebekah creates a welcoming and encouraging environment for all of her students and believes that art is meant to be fun for everyone.

She is a member of the Society for Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators and Storyteller Academy and is currently working on illustrating a picture book.

Rebekah earned her Bachelor of Fine Art and Creative Writing minor from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, where she was on the president’s list and graduated with Honors.
