Students participating in SFTA music classes that feature a performance component will be required to take part in a placement audition, which will determine each student’s role or contribution during our upcoming musical presentations. Enrollment in an SFTA music performance class ensures every student will be included in the ensemble, allowing everyone to share their musical talents on stage. Placement auditions will take place during regular class time and are thoughtfully designed so the instructional team can match students with parts and opportunities that align with their unique musical strengths and interests.
Group Lessons offer a dynamic, collaborative environment where students learn and grow alongside their peers. These sessions emphasize ensemble work, communication, and the energy of a shared performance space. Students build essential skills like active listening, improvisation, and stage presence through interactive exercises and scene study. Kindly take note that this service is only available upon request.

In Melodies with Modie, kids ages 5–8 will explore the joy of singing through playful vocal warm-ups, rhythm games, movement, musical activities, and lots of singing. They’ll build pitch, rhythm, musical confidence, and performance skill all in a fun and encouraging environment where every child can feel like a star.

A 6-Week Voice & Music Adventure for Ages 5–8
Let your little one find their voice, make some music, and shine!
Over six weeks, students will grow from learning the basics of their singing voice to confidently performing together. And the best part? Families are invited to a special mini showcase at the end of the session! 🌟
