Classes consist of team and individual robotics with an emphasis on problem-solving, logic, and collaboration. The core materials for the class will include Cubetto Robotics & Lego WeDo 2.0. In Cubetto, students will be introduced to programming logic in a collaborative team format. In Lego WeDo 2.0, students will receive an introduction to basic mechanical design and an introduction to programming logic. Extended learning activities are readily available and will be assigned as needed. In closing, all robotics courses are built on the foundation of encouraging the curiosity and creativity needed to become a lifelong learner.
In this multi-age, multi-level robotics workspace based class students will explore both individual and team problem-solving through various robotics related activities. The robotics platforms are primarily Lego based using both the WeDo 2.0 and Mindstorm EV3 platforms. Throughout the course of the class students will be encouraged to approach problem-solving activities with logic, creativity, and collaboration. Likewise, extended learning activities are readily available and will be assigned as needed. All School For The Arts robotics courses are built on the foundation of encouraging the curiosity and creativity needed to become a lifelong learner.
